Cost - $300 to $600 + GST depending on measuring & estimating requirements/complexity i.e time required

Application - Where a ballpark estimate is required to differentiate between the "tyre kickers" and the "real deal".. Usually based on Preliminary or Conceptual Drawings.

Limitations - Based on m² rates of similar homes and adjusted to build requirements. The further away from a typical home i.e. architectual builds, the less likely a high level estimate is suitable. Refer to Detailed Elemental Estimate.

Hi, I am Chris Morgan, a qualified QS with over 15 years experience in the Construction Industry.

Over the years I have recognized that the large Professional Quantity Surveyor firms generally only service the large projects and are cost prohibitive to the small to medium Residential Home Builders.
